After much whining and moaning Lance finally got me to go
out and see him. I had 4 days in a row off and decided it
was time for a road trip. After finishing up work on Friday
James and I packed up and left. We drove all night, Myself
driving the first several hours and James taking over for a
good part of the dawn hours. I had heard in advance that
Lance was going to be hiking Cable with a friend and would
either be at Patties or the ranch. Later that morning and
within 50 miles of Flag I got word that lance had finished the
hike and was at Patties and getting ready to chow down on
some breakfast. Needless to say we didn't waste any time
making it out to Tuba.
Just after getting into town and having some good breakfast
Patty and Bonzo decided to go to Flag and get a Carb for
one of their trucks. Coincidently Lanced friend Lauren had to
be back in town for work later that evening. So she packed
in with them leaving Us three to in Lances immortal saying
"Tear Shit Up!"
With this being the first real off road trial of my new ZR2 I
wanted to do everything. I basically told Lance to lead the
way to fun places to drive. Overestimating Lances
knowledge of the city we headed out and pretty much just
drove around looking for stuff to drive over. After not too long
we came across the Tuba Sand Dunes. We found very
quickly neither of out rides were very suited for driving in the
sand, but it was fun none the less.
